Buying land to build on

Buy the plot now, build when you are ready.

A plot loan funds the purchase of residential land in an approved layout. It is not a home loan and the terms are noticeably tighter — less funding, shorter tenure, and no tax relief until you actually build. Worth knowing before you compare the rates.

Why through JSR

What you get

  • Secure the plot before prices move

Buy the land now on a loan and build when your cash flow allows.

  • Composite loan option

Several lenders will fund the plot and the construction together, which gives you home loan terms and the tax relief with it.

  • Approved layouts only

HMDA or DTCP approved, within municipal limits. We check the layout status before you pay an advance.

  • Convert later

Once you build, the loan can usually be converted or refinanced onto home loan terms.
